What a fabulous time we had celebrating International Day! We started the day with French maths - doing number problems with croissants and playdough snails and working out how many ways we could quarter a cheese or crepes - yum! We then had a delicious Irish snack (thank you Mrs Gwillim! - with red lemonade, special biscuits, delicious ham and soda bread with Irish butter - mmmm!). After break we did a rotation learning about Ireland and also exploring Polish books, nursery rhymes and making beautiful Polish decorations with Mrs Akala which we loved and also learned about buildings and monuments in Great Britain and France and made our own! Can you spot Stone Henge, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triumph and the Houses of Parliament?! At the end of day we enjoyed Polish snacks too! I wonder if anyone ate their dinner on Thursday evening?!
