Nov 21: Maths Day
The Nursery children enjoyed taking part in the Maths Day in November. They practised their counting skills by counting things in the classroom, like 'how many round windows we have?' Then we learned that 'how many?' means the total amount or the last number you say. The children also looked at number spot patterns on some dice and tried to copy them too. The children also had to solve the problem of how to sort the dinosaurs into groups- by colour or dinosaur type. Most children sorted them by colour. What a busy day!
