Spr 22: Welly Walk - The Gruffalo's Child
The children went on a welly walk on a cold January morning. To start off with, we sat in a gazebo and heard the story 'The Gruffalo's Child' by Julia Donaldson, which is set on a snowy winter's day. After this we walked across the school field to the 'Forest School' area. The children then looked to see if they could find any places a fox, owl or a snake might live. Then the children collected some twigs and leaves to try an create an animal hideout. After this, we walked back to class looking out for foxes, birds and snakes! .jpg) .jpg) .jpg) .jpg) .jpg) |
