Foundation Stage Activities for Parents

  • The current class book is Superworm – the classes will be learning about superheroes. You could design and make your own superhero. The children could go into the garden and look for worms and then make a wormery.

  • Spread The Happiness and see how many you can do of of the 100 Things to do before you are 6

  • Visit Oxford Owl for Reading

  • Practise your tricky words with the Tricky Words Song

  • Practise your counting and learn about number with Numberjacks

  • Learn your letter sounds with the Alphablocks

  • Count along with the Numberblocks

  • There are lots of free activities at Twinkl - Twinkl (they are currently offering a free months membership)

  • Visit Phonics Play

  • Visit ITV signed stories

  • Play games e.g. Snakes and Ladders

  • Share and make up stories

  • Practise using scissors and paintbrushes
