Home Learning for children isolating at home - Reception

Please do as much or as little as your child can cope with it is merely there as a support if their symptoms are mild.

Please find enclosed some work to support you and your child if they are unfortunate enough to be isolating this week.

Task 1.
Continue to work on ch sh th ng digraphs in phonics.
Build words using other phonemes into lists and hide around the house going on a treasure hunt to find them.

Task 2.
There is a variety of work set on Purple Mash (see children's green log on sheet)

Task 3 .
In enquiry we will be continuing the work on Grandpa's magic slippers and looking at deserts.
We encourage them to produce posters looking at the adaptations made by camels and cacti to survive the desert. See link here: (One and Two and next 2 posts ).

Task 4
Science investigation . Timing how long it takes for water to disappear and completely dry out. (See link here)

Task 5.
Maths -
Composition of 2, 3 and 4 calculating within 5
Find totals up to 4 quickly and record.
Find one more than up to 4
Take away from 2,3 or 4 including 0
Find one less than numbers up to 4
