Celebrating Children 2020-2021 - Nursery: Orange Class - Mrs Granger
Nov 20: Black History Activity
The children in Nursery heard some stories about a spider called Anansi. They were told that these stories came from a different country in Africa called Ghana. The children enjoyed hearing two different stories about Anansi. Then we talked about spiders and we noticed that they have lots of legs! We counted Anansi's legs to see how many legs he had. The children then made their own spiders. They could choose what colour and if they wanted to do a pattern like spots or stripes. Then the children had to count to check they had enough legs. We found out that spiders also have 8 eyes, so we made sure our spiders had eight eyes too! |
