May 21: Seeds of Hope Community Project
Over the last few weeks we have taken part in the Morrisons Seeds of Hope Community Project. Morrisons very kindly gave each child in the school a sunflower seed to plant as a ‘Seed of Hope’. The children have loved planting the seeds and have been excited to see the sunflowers begin to grow. They have been very busy creating pictures, writing postcards and letters to local care home residents to hopefully put a smile on their faces as part of the project. We have recently taken delivery of some lovely books about Cedric the seed which the children have enjoyed sharing. Many thanks to one of our parents who has involved Red Oaks in the project.
