Summer 23: Cooking and Gardening
The children in nursery have enjoyed doing some cooking, we read the story 'The Gingerbread man' and then cooked some ourselves. We have done some gardening in Nursery, we have planted carrots, rocket salad, tomatoes, beetroot and lots more. Another story we have listened and learnt about is 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar', the children enjoyed learning about the life cycle of a caterpillar and we talked about healthy and unhealthy foods, the children then helped to make a display board by painting plates to create a caterpillar and coloured in the different foods from the story.
