Children's School Development Plan 2021/22
Mental HealthHealthy Minds The new Mental Health sections in the libraries are officially open! Take a look through our launch video that will be shared with all children after half term and check out our photos. The children are incredibly proud of what they have created and look forward to seeing it having an impact to provide support to all children with Mental Health. Library resources update 2! The library resources have arrived. Helping hands were incredibly excited to sort through them all. They also created some handy reviews for the books! The adults are in the process of logging them all onto the system and then they will be ready to check out. Look out soon for our video coming up showing the resources set up in the libraries. Library resources update! Helping Hands have completed an audit of the resources which support mental health in the school libraries. They discovered we don’t have much in either library so they have created a wish list and some of these will be ordered. Watch this space for updates on these areas of the libraries! Click here to download the audit Worry boxes Following our latest class meeting, children in year 1 and 2 said they would like a class worry box to help them manage their worries. The year 2 helping hands representatives and very helpful group of volunteers came to join them to decorate the boxes and they did such a wonderful job. What a creative bunch! These are available for all children in year 1 and 2 to use and will be regularly checked and followed up by the staff in each class. Check out the class meeting section to find out how the whole school voted. |
