June 16: 'In Their Shoes'
On Friday 17th June we were lucky to have The Saltmine Theatre Company visit us to perform a play called 'In Their Shoes'. The play taught us about differences we may come across within our community and helped us to understand that there can be unity in diversity. We had a lot of fun watching the play, which included meeting a lion, cheering people on in a race and even getting a little bit wet! Children in years 5 and 6 took part in workshops with the actors after watching the play to learn more about British Values and what they mean.
