We have been lucky enough to have a group of children from Abbey Park come over to read with some of our EAL pupils. These are pupils who are working in two of more different languages. This means English may not be spoken at home, as the main language. To help these children succeed further in their journey at Red Oaks we have added these sessions on a Thursday afternoon through-out term 3 and 4. During these sessions they will practice their reading and decoding, pace, intonation and expression as well as working on answering questions linked to their reading.
