Our topics in the Inclusion Base include jobs, safety and relating our learning back to real life situations where possible. Developing life skills, independence and learning to make appropriate behaviour choices are central to the curriculum for children in the provision. They also take part in Values Education and also Building Learning Power (BLP) to promote independence. Additional curriculum activities are likely to include shopping, cooking and trips into the local community or in collaboration with the other schools on the campus to support children in developing life skills. We organise trips to support this and appreciate parents/carers' support in funding these trips and transporting their child to make such trips viable.
