Welcome back! We hope you all had a lovely, sunny Easter break. This term our enquiry is; 'What's under the deep blue sea?’ We have asked the children what they know, what they want to find out and have based this term's learning journey on their ideas. Don't forget to check the website and Class Dojo during the term for regular updates and photos/videos of the exciting learning happening in Year 1.

We are delighted to welcome the children back for the new year! We hope you all had a restful and enjoyable Christmas break. This term’s enquiry title is 'What can we find in the past?' We will focus on dinosaurs for the first half term and move on to Kings and Queens as we get closer to Easter.

Termly Science Challenge
Hi everyone! Welcome back to another fantastic school year. Following on from the huge success with our 'at home science challenges' we are going to continue them this year. The term one challenge is a physics challenge linked to colour and light and you can find out all about it here.
Remember to send any photos or videos to me (Miss Wilson) or your class teacher and certificates will be awarded at the end of term. This challenge is for everyone!

We are delighted to welcome the children back to Year 1! While this year has been a very unusual and difficult time, we are excited to get things back to ‘normal’ for the children as soon as possible. We will ensure that the children have a smooth transition back into school and are always here for any questions or worries you may have. This term’s enquiry title is ‘Who is the Magic Toymaker?’ We will be spending the first few weeks focussing getting settled into our new classroom and focusing on building communication and language skills. We will begin to discover more about the Magic Toymaker and toys of the past as the term progresses.
