Walk to School Week - May 2025Walk to School Week takes place on Monday 19th - Friday 23rd May! The idea of this is to encourage children to travel actively to school every day of the week.
Why not take photos of your walk/ bike ride into school and share with your teachers!
Interviewing Mrs Tyler - Summer 2024
Today, Mrs Tyler put on her lollypop uniform for our Travel Ambassadors and let the children ask her questions about her job role. The children asked some wonderful questions like: 'Have you ever had any fast or dangerous drivers?' and 'How do you keep people safe?'. The travel ambassadors really enjoyed this experience and it was lovely to see their engagement.

Road Safety Week 2023!
Red Oaks will be taking part in Road Safety Week which is on the 19th - 25th November 2023. Every year, Road Safety Week has a different theme and this year it is 'Let's talk about speed'. Class teachers will be delivering an assembly which focuses on understanding why fast traffic is dangerous and how to make our journeys safe. Children will also be participating in a competition where they are to decorate a car, making it as fun and colourful as possible!
