Curriculum Enhancements

At Red Oaks we offer a unique and exciting range of curriculum enhancements. We believe that this is what makes us different.

The curriculum offer at Red Oaks is so much more than just the national requirements. Our curriculum ensures the personal and social development of pupils is rooted in a wide range of experiences and opportunities; we refer to these as our curriculum enhancements. Some of these are on-going throughout the school and are embedded in all that we do. Other opportunities arise in particular year groups or at certain times of year. These are plotted alongside our year group curriculum maps.

A child starting the school in Nursery or Reception and moving through the school to the end of year 6 can expect a rich and exciting journey. It is our aim that every child will leave the school recognising their own skills and talents and will feel confident in their abilities helping them in next chapter of their education.

Red Oaks is a forward thinking school, often leading the way with new initiatives and ideas. We believe that fun and creativity help children to learn and support their individual learning styles and strengths.
