Wiltshire & Swindon Virtual School Games - Week Three
GGood morning. It is week 3 of the Wiltshire Virtual School Games already!
I hope your students are enjoying taking part as much as we love watching the video entries.

The challenges this week are based around Tennis and Tri-golf. You may complete both or just one - every activity is treated separately.

Entries must be uploaded onto the wiltssport.org.uk website by 3pm on 19th June to be included in the competition.
FYI - We have received so many enquiries about KS1 being able to participate that we have created a category for them.

Wiltshire & Swindon Virtual School Games - Week Two
Good morning and welcome to week 2 of the Wiltshire Virtual School Games.
We had an incredible response to the athletics challenges in week one and hope your students enjoyed taking part.

This weeks challenges are based around Gymnastics and Cricket
You may complete both or just one - every activity is treated separately.

Entries must be uploaded onto the wiltssport.org.uk website by 3pm on 12th June to be included in the competition.

There will be a prize for the school that has the most participants over the 5 weeks – this can include parents and teachers.
Look out for videos showing Gloucester/England Rugby Players Jonny May, Charlie Sharples, Mark Atkinson attempting a cricket challenge.

I am pleased to share the details of the Wiltshire & Swindon Virtual School Games was officially launched on Monday 1st June.

There are 8 different categories of activity – each will have at least 2 challenges. You can attempt all the challenges or just one or two. There are winners for each separate challenge. All activities can be carried out at home or school.
There will be Spirit of the Games Awards given to those who have to think creatively to be able to complete the activity.

Age categories are KS2/KS3/KS4/KS5+. Teachers and Parents are encouraged to join in as part of the KS5+ age group

Please note that all entries must be submitted by 3pm on the Friday of the week the activity was released.

Look out for videos showing ex Sheldon School pupil/Bath Rugby/England squad member Tom Dunn and Gloucester/England Rugby Player Charlie Sharples attempting a challenge.

This is a great opportunity for students to join together with their peers to represent their school. I hope you will take part.
