Lunches: Water: Fruit for Schools Initiative:
All children in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, Nursery – Year 2, will receive a free piece of fruit or vegetable for snack at playtime as part of the Government’s scheme to promote healthy eating. Please let us know if your child has any allergies to any particular types of fruit. No other food type is permitted for break time apart from dried fruits like sultanas, apricots etc. Please do not send biscuits, chocolate, sweets, crisps, nuts etc. Thank you.Children in Key Stage 2, Years 3-6, do not receive free fruit or vegetables unfortunately, so if they wish to bring a snack please send fruit, peeled vegetables or dried fruit.
