Play Workshop 2024
Huge thank you to the 18 who were able to come to the workshop. I know it is tricky for many of you during the school day so here are the slides. It hopefully shows the importance of play and what you can do to help at home. PS its worth watching the video link of Molly and the TED talk. Thank you again.

Parents update Thursday
Great second day for all considering the weather and we only got out for 10 mins. Lunch was big step up for them and the extra hour but they coped well with the hall.
Quite a few only picked at the roast dinner today but it is different meal tomorrow . Packed lunches generally ate well . Reminder no nut based products in lunchboxes . The children’s boxes are not emptied so you can see how much they have eaten.
Please check all articles of clothing are labelled and train children where to look for them to develop independence.

Hope you were all home safe and dry when the weather hit.

Dates for diary.
We will have our short class welcome meeting on Monday 9th Sept for parents at 3.10 for 20 mins in the main hall for both Cherry and Apple to let you know some basics and a chance to ask any questions.
Phonics information meeting Wednesday 18th 2.00-2.50 for new EYFS parents. Lots of info on how we teach reading and what you can do to help at home. Very informal!
